London luxury lifestyle magazine Brummell has featured White & Case lawyer Nathaniel Crowley (London) in its sixth annual "Top 30: Ones to Watch" list for 2018.
Selected by a panel of judges from nominees all under 40 years old and working in the financial services sector and related fields, Crowley and the other members of the list were singled out because they were each "an out-performer in their market and, beyond that, demonstrate drive, energy and an entrepreneurial spirit" according to Brummel's May 11 profile. "Additionally, the judges looked for evidence of a nominee's holistic contribution to the organisation for which he or she works… The 30 talented individuals selected are on the rise and, just as importantly, making the world a better place by giving back on the way up."
Profiling Crowley, Brummel cited his role as chair of White & Case's Spectrum LGBT Affinity Group in London, one of a family of Affinity Groups at White & Case that nurture a sense of community among diverse groups within the Firm. "Crowley is always looking to share his life experience and passions with others, most recently by mentoring young LGBT and BAME [Black, Asian and minority ethnic] students from challenging backgrounds and undertaking … [a] voluntary role as the deputy legal director of Pride in London" the profile reported, also referencing his most current role volunteering as a director of Vox Vanguard, "an immersive classical arts production company seeking to reimagine how people experience art."
Crowley is an associate in White & Case's Capital Markets Group in London and is an English and Irish law qualified solicitor. His practice covers OTC derivatives, structured derivatives and structured finance, including credit and equity linked notes, repurchase transactions and stock lending, finance linked hedging and related regulatory matters. He regularly advises major international banks, sovereigns, central banks, funds and corporations with a particular focus on emerging markets.
