Preeti Nana is an associate in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and is based in Johannesburg.
She specialises in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate commercial law, company law related work, and due diligence investigations.
Preeti acts for local and international as well as listed and unlisted clients in a number of sectors, including a number of prominent mining clients.
Preeti’s experience includes conducting legal research and advisory work on compliance with the Companies Act 2008, advising clients on a variety of commercial matters, drafting commercial documents, and providing advice in her fields of expertise.
Her drafting experience extends to shareholders’ agreements, sale of business agreements, memoranda of incorporation and board and shareholders’ resolutions.
Preeti has been involved in a number of due diligence investigations and has experience in preparing reports which set out findings in respect of such due diligence investigations.
Prior to joining White & Case, Preeti was a senior associate at a leading South African law firm.
